Happy Harvest Time

There's not really much to say about this one.  I sponged the backgrounds with Tea Dye.  And I dyed the lace (from Wild Orchid) with tea to soften the bright white color into more of a cream.  Colored with my new Copics (I can't WAIT to place another order for those.  ;)

A Sympathy Card

One of the ladies from our church is going thru a rough patch lately.  Her aunt passed away last week and she's going to lose her job at the end of the month because the company she works for is downsizing.  So, I made this card for her and put a verse inside by Helen Steiner Rice, but I forgot to take a pic of the inside.

Autumn Blessings

Just in case anyone is checking, I haven't gone MIA.  I spent the last week doing my "Fall Spring Cleaning."  Since I applied for a few design teams, I thought I'd get my fall deep clean out of the way, just in case....fingers crossed.  Everyone who knows me thinks I'm odd simply because I love to clean.  I find it therapeutic myself.  Anywho...here's what you've probably come for...

I made this one using the September freebie from The Treehouse that they're giving away for their contest.
ETA:  I just found out that my card won me a GDT spot over at The Treehouse, along with a great prize!  Thank you so much!

Distressed Tag

I made a distressed tag for a scrapbook page.  I used actual tea to dye my lace because it seemed to take forever to color it with the Distress Ink the last time. I still used my distress inks on my background paper.  I have an old book of Victorian era ads, so I made a copy of one of the pages and distressed it....though most of it's covered.  I have no idea what I was doing wrong, lol.  I used both my new Copics and my Prisma pencils to color her.
